On August 17, 2011, Bethany firefighters responded to a reported motor vehicle accident with rollover on Brown Road. Upon their arrival they found one vehicle on it's side with all patients free.
 
219Bethany Road Brush Fire
On Nov. 14, 2010, Bethany firefighters were dispatched to a brush fire on Bethany Road. Firefighter Lee was the first to walk around the fire and found the fire going southeast due to the wind.
 
021Fully Involved House
Bethany firefighters along with Summerfield and Stokesdale fire departments responded to a structure fire on Bobcat Rd. Units arrived to find a fully involved house fire.
 
204Fully Involved House
Bethany, Summerfield, Stokesdale, and Monroeton Fire units responded to a residential structure fire on the morning of May 2nd on Bobcat Rd. in the Bethany Community. Upon arrival the structure was fully involved and the first arriving engine dropped two 1-3/4" lines and one 2-1/2" line.
 
021Horse Rescue
On April 13, 2010, Bethany Fire Dept responded to a reported animal rescue on NC 65. Bethany units arrived on scene to find a horse that had fell through a septic system. A local vet was on scene and sedated the horse while crews attempted to extricate the horse using a harness provided by a local citizen.
 

DSC012034th Annual Golf Tournament
The Bethany Fire Dept. will hold its 4th Annual Fire Prevention Golf Tournament on Aug 13, 2011. It will be a 4-man Captain's Choice. The price is $160 per team and includes 1 mulligan, cart fees, green fees, and lunch. The location is Monroeton Golf Course. Teams need to check in by 7:30am and the tournament will start at 8:00am. Please contact Scott Moore at 336-951-2155 for more information. All proceeds go to the Bethany Fire Dept. Fire Prevention Programs.

Residents Needed

The Bethany Fire Dept. in Reidsville, NC is looking for new residents for Station 240. Station 240 is located on Highway 158 near Flintrock Farms.

Duties will include maintaining fire apparatus and equipment, keeping the station clean, and running calls for fire, rescue and medical services for the community. For more information on the area please take a look at the About Us page.

The minimum requirements for this position are:

  •  Be 18 years of age or older
  • Have the EMC part of FF I&II
