Water rescue - July 30, 2007
On July 30, the Bethany Fire Department responded mutual
aid with the Summerfield Fire Department on a water
rescue. Upon arrival, a vehicle was found stranded
approximately 40 yards away with one occupant inside.
Bethany Fire Department assisted with operations on the
north end. The victim was rescued from the vehicle and
treated by Rockingham County EMS on scene. Assisting
agencies included: Greensboro Fire Department,
Rockingham County Sheriffs Department, Rockingham County
EMS, Rockingham County Swift Water Team, and Guilford
Squad 50. |
