Structure Fire - August 16, 2006
The Bethany Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire on August 16 on the Truman Road. Upon arrival, heavy fire and smoke were showing. An offensive attack was made on the structure and the fire was under control in less than 15 minutes. All occupants escaped without serious injury. Other assisting agencies included: Jacobs Creek FD, Wentworth FD, and the Rockingham County Fire Marshal's Office.
