Bethany Certified as Medical Responder Unit
The Bethany Fire Department received notice on December 1, 2007 that the department has meet the professional standards requirements and has been certified as a Medical Responder Unit through the North Carolina Association of Rescue and Emergency Medical Services, Inc. This certification process required a review and inspection of the current equipment carried on our units and subsequently met all standards for this designation. This process has allowed the department to be inducted into the membership of the North Carolina Association of Rescue and Emergency Medical Services, Inc. With this membership, the members of our department are entitled to extra benefits above and beyond those of the North Carolina Firemen's Association.
